Kaitlyn is a Senior Associate at RebuttalPR with a strong foundation in broadcast journalism. Driven by a passion for storytelling and effective communication across all media platforms, she is dedicated to being a fierce advocate for her clients and a champion for justice.
Prior to joining Rebuttal, Kaitlyn worked at NBC News in Washington, D.C., where she served in various roles including assignment editor, associate producer, researcher, and desk assistant. During her time there, she covered numerous major news events such as the Baltimore bridge collapse, key U.S. Supreme Court decisions, the removal of House Speaker leadership, the Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Hamas war, and the 2024 presidential election. She coordinated coverage for MSNBC and NBC News Now, conducted in-depth research, planned editorial strategies, and helped produce segments for NBC Nightly News. After receiving high marks in NBC’s field producer bootcamp, she went on to field produce coverage on the ground.
Before NBC, Kaitlyn reported for Capital News Service in Annapolis, MD, and gained experience through internships with a podcast show and a marketing firm.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland and currently resides in New York City.
